ARRIVE

Give yourself extra time to get to the competition venue.  Allow time for traffic and parking.  Athletes should arrive 15 minutes before their official meet time.

COVID-19 Provisions

  • Teams should not enter the building more than 1 hour prior to their warm-up time. 

  • Please meet your team outside and enter as a team.

  • EVERYONE will be temperature checked on the way into the building.

  • Teams will have designated holding areas once inside the building.

Example:  Team Awesome Warms-up at 8:23 am they can enter the building at 7:23 am.

Athletes

  • Eat before you come.

  • Arrive competition ready; full uniform, makeup, and hair done. 

  • Youth teams and below will need to give all their belongings to their parents before your team goes back to warm up. 

  • There will be NO CELL PHONE use from check in through awards.  

  • No jewelry or nail polish is allowed.  

  • Athletes must be in only Pro Spirit official apparel. (PS uniform, warm ups, and back pack).

Parents

  • Have your athlete at arrival check point 15 minutes early. Timelines are essential so please be on time. 

  • Check in with your Team Rep.  

  • Take all your cheerleaders belongings with you.  (Backpacks warm ups, etc.)

  • Find the section that all the Pro Spirit parents will be sitting in.

  • Be ready to CHEER LOUD and represent PS in the highest level of sportsmanship.  

WARM UP & PERFORMANCES

​Athletes will review, stretch and mentally prepare, followed by a warm up procedure established by the event producer.

  • Teams have been issued a check-in time for warm-ups.  Please adhere to that schedule.

  • Once a team performs they should re-mask if needed and they will move to the instant replay room with their coaches so they can be given instant feedback and celebrate their accomplishments.

  • After instant replay, they will exit the building.

We ask that athletes are:

  • Be Focused

  • Be Confident

  • Listen to your coach 

  • Respect your Team Rep

  • Represent PS in the highest level of sportsmanship to other athletes and event producers. 

SPECTATORS

  • Spectators will be issued a check-in time to be able to watch their team perform (see final schedule). 

  • Check-in time for parents is approximately 20 minutes prior to their teams performance time. 

  • It is imperative that spectators BE ON TIME for their check-in. 

  • EVERYONE will be temperature checked on the way into the building.

  • REMINDER - there is a FREE LIVE-STREAM of the event!

  • Each athlete receives a FREE Download of their performance.

Example:  Team Awesome Performs at 9:03 am - Team Awesome Spectators will check-in OUTSIDE at 8:45 am and then be escorted by Staff to their holding area in preparation for their teams performance.

Spectators

  • Check-in (approximately 20 minutes prior to team performance)

  • Move to holding areas

  • Watch Performance

  • Move to Instant Replay and celebrate their athlete’s performance

  • Exit the building

SAFETY

We remind everyone to practice social distancing when possible and be respectful of other programs and how they are handling social distancing, the use of masks and their personal policies for their programs.

UNIFORM QUESTIONS

Glitter will receive their uniforms on the last practice of this week.  They will be wearing their full uniform for this competition. 

Sapphirez will receive their uniform with the exception of the top on the last practice of this week.  For the competition, Pro Spirit will provide a uniform top that will be returned at the following practice.

All Star Teams for this competition will wear the same practice wear worn at the showcase (aqua tops and black shorts/bottoms).

 

Lucky Starz will compete in their black practice wear shirt.  Girls will receive their uniform skirts at the last practice of this week.  Boys will wear their black uniform pants from last year.

All programs will get make up and their competition bows at their last practice of this week.

TICKETS

Tickets are available at the gym $10 each (cash only) or $15 at the door.  Pre-purchase and save.  Children 5 and under are free.

WAIVERS ARE REQUIRED

The venue does require a waiver for their facility.  Waivers are available at the gym, or you can download it here in advance.  Waivers are due no later than Saturday 10/13/2020.
